La Chapelle De La Croix, Concarneau, France

Went on vacay to France recently, so here's a drawing/watercolour of one of the amazing buildings there. Can you believe this chapel dates back to 1540?! Anyway, I completed this piece using Derwent watercolour pencils - I love using these because they enable you to combine the precision of drawing with free, expressive brushstrokes in watercolour. My main aims in this painting were to capture the contrast on the cross monument and, of course, the tricky perspective! Hope you like it :-)
